Report on the 2nd International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering (CCE-2018)
The 2nd International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering brought together more than 250 experts of the leading institutes and organizations to share their knowledge and research findings in the development of Catalysis and Chemical Engineering. The three day event organized at Paris Marriott Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel, Paris, France had its inaugural on February 19, 2018.
We have scientists, researchers and academicians from various universities having a diverse subject expertise from more than 45 countries gathered to a single platform to discuss the currently employed technologies and the application of recent progress in the field of catalysis and chemical engineering for the betterment of science and technology. The program focuses on the basic research to the latest advancements; and the role of chemical engineering and its applications in various domains of science and technology including reactions, energy, chemical synthesis and materials. There is nothing more powerful than when this elite community comes together to share ideas, research matters, and hope.
The conference started with the keynote presentation from Prof. Jimmy C. Yu (Signing Authority of CCE-2018), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong; followed by Prof. Ange Nzihou, Director RAPSODEE Research Center -CNRS, IMT Mines Albi – France; Dr. Martin Schmal, Federal University of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; Prof. Hua Chun Zeng, National University of Singapore, Singapore; Prof. Erhard Kemnitz, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany; Prof. Sang Ouk Kim, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea; Prof. Jean-Marie Basset, KAUST Catalysis Research Center, Saudi Arabia; Prof. Sibudjing Kawi, National University of Singapore, Singapore; Prof. Victor Puntes, Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca, Spain. The post lunch session continued with general session and a parallel session with 60 talks attended from all around the world.
The second day of the conference started with 3 parallel sessions and 85 talks with 210 attendees from all over the globe, on second day we had many interesting presentations which are educational and inspiring; the emerging researcher’s forum and poster sessions which has provided an ample opportunities for the bussing researchers to interact with leading scientists.
The last day of catalysis focused specifically on Environmental Catalysis | Catalysis for Renewable Sources. The lectures by 25 speakers went on with vivid discussions and interactions among delegates.
We specially thank Prof. Jimmy C. Yu, signing authority of the CCE-2018 conference and also we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Professors young researchers for their constant support for making the conference a kickoff start which we have witness the success. United Scientific Group proudly says that the Organizing Committee Members has supported the young researchers and some Professors by funding. Also, we would like to show our gratitude towards Equilabo, France; Avantium, The Netherlands; for exhibiting at CCE-2018 and Springer Nature, USA for supporting sponsor and EuroFusion, European Union; for supporting CCE-2018 and we would like to thank specially Springer for being the Publishing Partner to CCE-2018.
Throughout the course of this three-day event, the attendees got an exclusive opportunity to network and be involved in inspiring and interesting discussions of scientists and researchers, new trends in catalysis and chemical engineering.
We would like to heartily invite you to our upcoming 3rd International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering conference. We believe your extend support and presence would help us mark another milestone to this annual event.
