Uniting Minds, Advancing Science: A Recap of CEB-2026

Uniting Minds, Advancing Science: A Recap of CEB-2026

From April 13th to 16th, the scientific community converged for the 7th International Conference on Cell & Experimental Biology (CEB-2026). Hosted at the Four Points by Sheraton Wakefield Boston Hotel & Conference Center, this year’s hybrid event proved to be a vibrant testament to the power of collaboration, blending three days of dynamic in-person engagement with two days of expansive virtual connectivity.

With over 150 attendees representing premier research institutes and organizations worldwide, CEB-2026 served as a vital forum for sharing groundbreaking research and fostering the next wave of scientific breakthroughs.

CEB-2026

Conference Highlights: Bridging Innovation and Expertise

Day 1: Setting the Stage for Discovery

The conference opened with a powerful momentum. We were honored to host visionary keynote presentations from Mulchand S. Patel, Billy G. Hudson, and Sarah Spiegel, whose insights set a high standard for the sessions to follow. The day was further elevated by a compelling plenary presentation from Rakesh K. Jain, sparking deep discussion among the delegates.

Day 2: Exploring the Frontiers of Cancer and Gene Therapy

Focus shifted toward the critical intersections of modern medicine. Attendees dove into dedicated sessions on Cell Signalling & Cancer Biology and Cell & Gene Therapy. A standout moment was the plenary presentation by Raghu Kalluri, which provided a masterclass in the latest advancements in cancer research, molecular pathways, and the rapidly evolving landscape of gene-editing technologies.

Day 3: Neurobiology and Experimental Physiology

The final day of the in-person event began with a thought-provoking keynote from Khalid Shah. The day’s programming continued with rigorous sessions on Experimental Biology & Disease Physiology and Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology, ensuring the in-person experience concluded with a focus on high-impact, translational science.

Fostering the Next Generation

A cornerstone of CEB-2026 was our commitment to nurturing emerging talent. Our dedicated Poster Sessions were designed to give young researchers a platform to showcase their work and engage with seasoned experts. The energy in the room was palpable, and we were thrilled to recognize two outstanding poster presentations with certificates and cash prizes, celebrating the dedication and promise of our rising stars.

Innovation on Display: Exhibitor Spotlight

The exhibition hall served as the heart of the event, buzzing with networking and technical exploration. We were particularly pleased to feature Mirus Bio as an exhibitor throughout the conference, as they showcased the latest products and technologies driving current research forward.

Expanding Our Reach: The Virtual Experience

Bridging geographic divides, the virtual segment of the conference (April 15-16) ensured that the CEB community remained connected globally. With over 45 speakers delivering a diverse series of keynote, oral, and poster presentations, the virtual platform successfully brought the spirit of CEB-2026 to researchers around the world.

Looking Ahead

As CEB-2026 concludes, we are energized by the scientific dialogue, collaboration, and innovation that defined these four days. We extend our deepest gratitude to all of our speakers, participants, and partners for making this event a resounding success.

Save the date! We are already looking forward to reuniting with you for the next edition of the conference, taking place April 12-14, 2027, in Houston, TX. See you there!
